Can You Still Pursue A Claim Against An At-Fault Driver Who Wasn’t Arrested?

Yes, you can. Even if an at-fault driver wasn’t arrested for a car accident that they cause, you, as the injured party can pursue a personal injury claim. This is because a claim falls into the purveyor of civil court, which means any criminal conviction has no direct bearing on whether or not an individual can be sued. If you plan to pursue a personal injury claim in this type of case, we think you need to talk to a legal representative first. We provide a free consultation with an experienced personal injury lawyer, which you can get by calling (800) 310-1606.
