Can An Employer Be Held Liable for Damages Caused by an Employee’s Car Accident?

Yes, they can. This is especially true if their employer is based in California. If you were injured in a car accident caused by an employee who was performing their job during the incident, then you should file a claim against their employer first. Remember to not file a claim to your own insurance provider if you’ve been involved in a car accident where you are not the at-fault driver since it will cause higher monthly premiums in the months to come.
