December 19, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

On December 9th, 2020, a single-vehicle crash was reported to occur in San Jose. California Highway Patrol was the first responder at the scene. The incident happened just past 5:00 a.m. between Highway 85 and Highway 87. A vehicle suddenly veered off-road and hit a nearby tree. The vehicle was only occupied by the driver, a 26-year-old man from Gildroy whose name was undisclosed by authorities. He sustained fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Several lanes of both Highway 85 and 85 were closed while an investigation into the crash was ongoing.

Can You Receive A Payout from an Auto Insurance After A Car Accident?

Usually, it depends on what kind of coverage you have as the driver and owner of the vehicle. It also depends on what type of accident you were involved in. Single-vehicle crashes can be more difficult to file claims for than multi-vehicle ones. However, if you have comprehensive coverage in the form of personal injury protection, the process should be smoother regardless of what kind of car accident you were involved in. If you want to contact a car accident lawyer to know whether or not you’ve received a fair amount of payout according to your coverage, call us today at (800) 310-1606 to get a free consultation.
