A pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle in Santa Monica on Tuesday, October 13th. Santa Monica Police Department is the lead investigator of the case. They received information that the incident took place at around 8:00 a.m., near Pico Boulevard and Stewart Avenue. The pedestrian, which was an unidentified female, was crossing the street on the zebra cross. It was then that the driver of the vehicle struck her. The driver, whose identity is not yet disclosed by the authorities, remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police. The female pedestrian suffered from some head trauma of unknown severity due to the incident.
