A hit-and-run incident was reported on Tuesday, January 5th in Florence. Los Angeles Police Department is the lead investigator of the case. The hit-and-run occurred between 61st Street and Broadway Street at about 10:00 p.m. A male pedestrian was crossing the street on the crosswalk when the vehicle struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was left with severe injuries and was transported to the nearest hospital. The driver of the vehicle immediately fled the scene, however, several eyewitnesses came forward.
