Seven-Vehicle Crash Reported on Highway 99

November 6, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

A seven-vehicle crash was reported to have occurred on Highway 99, near Airport Drive on Saturday, October 24th, at around 1:00 p.m. California Highway Patrol was one of the first responders at the scene. One vehicle seems to have been the cause of the multi-collision, a grey Honda. Eyewitnesses say that the Honda was trying to overtake multiple vehicles at once, leading to the multi-vehicle pile-up crash. It is unknown how many people were injured by the crash or whether anyone died. Several lanes of Highway 99 near the scene of the accident were closed while an investigation into the crash commenced.

Can You File A Claim Against At-Fault Driver After A Multi-Vehicle Crash?

Yes, you can. It can be difficult to determine the at-fault driver in a multi-vehicle crash, however, so it is best to wait until the police investigation is underway. In the event that no one was arrested for the crash, you will need to work together with a legal representative to determine which party will you put your claim against.
