The vehicle involved, according to an eyewitness, was a luxury car of an unknown model. The car was overturned when the driver failed to make a correct turn. It immediately went up in flames and caused severe damage to a nearby gate and vegetation area. The fire took several hours to die down, even with the help of the Fire Department. Despite authorities’ effort, the driver of the vehicle was not found at the scene or anywhere near. This incident happened near Alexis Drive and Page Mill Road at about 9:18 p.m.

Can You File A Claim Against At-Fault Driver for Private Property Damage?

Yes, you can. If your private property boundaries were damaged in some way due to the actions of a negligent driver, you can pursue a claim against them or their insurance provider. However, the latter may not always approve of your claim, since it will depend on whether or not such damages are covered in the at-fault driver insurance coverage. In the event that you are facing troubles with getting a claim approved by the auto insurance of the at-fault driver, call us at (800) 310-1606 to get our advice on what actions you can take.
