24-Year-Old Woman Dead in Bakersfield Crash

A fatal single-vehicle crash reportedly took place in Bakersfield on Saturday, January 16th. The incident took place just after 4:00 p.m. between Alfred Harrell Highway and Fairfax Road. Eyewitnesses claimed that a Ford Expedition that was traveling east on the highway suddenly veered off-control and crashed into a nearby dirt mound. It was traveling at a high rate of speed and was found at an overturned state. The vehicle was occupied only by the driver, who was left fatally injured. The driver was Kiana Lashay Coulter, a 24-year-old woman.
