A DUI crash was reported near Sunset Boulevard on Saturday, October 10th. The Los Angeles Police Department is leading the investigation into the crash. The driver was identified as a 26-year-old female. She was driving on her hybrid Lexus with a female passenger of the same age when she crashed into a Range Rover in the opposite lane. The female passenger had fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was also moderately injured and was hospitalized for her injuries. The Range Rover occupants were uninjured. The incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. The driver will be facing manslaughter charges for her action.
