Can Family Members File A Personal Injury Claim on Behalf of a Victim?
Whether or not family members can file a personal injury claim on behalf of a victim depends on several factors. First, has the power of attorney been transferred by the victim to the family member? Or, is the victim underage? If these two conditions are not met, then a family member may not be allowed to file a personal injury claim on behalf of the victim.
