Do Auto Insurance Coverage in California Include Provisions for Single-Vehicle Crash?
Generally, no, unless you include personal injury protection (PIP) coverage in your auto insurance policy. However, this is an optional policy, and thus it is up to you whether or not you chose to have it. If you have already experienced a single-vehicle crash before getting PIP coverage, you should know that it may still be possible for you to claim damages. This highly depends on your auto insurance and the circumstances of your crash.
