A motorcycle crash was reported on Monday, January 25th in San Jose. California Highway Patrol is leading an investigation of the crash. The crash happened just before 3:00 p.m. on State Route 130, near Kincaid Road. The motorcyclist, a 49-year-old man named Jeffrey Michael Latta, was heading west on State Route 130 when his vehicle crashed a Chevrolet Volt. The motorcycle, a 1999 Suzuki, was severely damaged, and Latta was also fatally injured. The driver of the Chevrolet was uninjured and remained at the scene.
