Can You File A Personal Injury Claim for a Deceased Victim?

If your loved one passed away due to injuries they sustain from a car accident, you may be looking for a way to honor their memory by taking legal actions against the individual responsible. This is especially true if, for some reason, their actions are not considered criminal actions. However, if you are thinking of filing a personal injury claim because you’ve heard that it’s the common claim to file for a victim of a car accident, you need to understand that your circumstances may be different. If the victim is deceased, you should look into a survival action or wrongful death claim instead.
