A pedestrian was hit by a car on Thursday, November 5th in Palo Alto. Palo Alto Police Department were the authorities present at the scene. The accident happened between Lytton Avenue and Waverley Street, at about 10:40 a.m. The pedestrian, a 79-year-old female named Pinxiang Zhou, was using the pedestrian crossing when a Honda Fit heading west hit her. An initial investigation found that the driver was not driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Can You Still Pursue A Lawsuit Against At-Fault Driver Who Wasn’t Arrested?

Just because a traffic accident happened, doesn’t mean that a driver who was responsible for inciting it would get arrested. In fact, in certain car accidents, the police might not even show up! So, it is up to you to take the necessary actions to ensure that your rights are upheld. You can do this by filing a personal injury lawsuit against the at-fault driver if you sustained wounds from the accident.
