At Least Two Injured in Friday Multi-Vehicle Crash

A multi-vehicle crash was reported on Friday, January 8th in San Jose. California Highway Patrol and the San Jose Fire Department were present at the scene. The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Interstate 680, near McKee Road. Four vehicles were involved in the crash although the exact details of how the crash came about have not yet been disclosed by the authorities. At least two people sustained injuries of unknown severity following the crash. It is unknown whether they were transported to the nearest hospital for treatment. Several lanes of I-680 were closed while an investigation of the crash was ongoing.
