What Should You Do if You Were Injured in a Hit-and-Run?

Regardless of your injury severity, you need to immediately get medical treatment. If you are still conscious, and the paramedics at the scene recommend you to go to the hospital for treatment, accept this. It is also crucial for you to cooperate with law enforcement so that they can help in finding the at-fault who fled from the scene. Try to recall as much information as you can regarding the driver’s vehicle model, license plate, and any notable characteristics that will help law enforcement officials in finding the driver. Next, if you need to use your insurance to cover your medical bills, be sure to contact them after you have received the medical treatments necessary.
