On September 17th, 2020, a car accident was reported to have killed a 59-year-old woman who was inside her house. The car, a 2004 PT Cruiser, swerved into her home. The woman was trapped under the vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver was identified as a 33-year-old man named Carmelino Martinez Ordonez. He tested positive for alcohol-impaired driving and was found to have been driving without a license.
Before the car crashed into the victim’s home, Ordonez was driving at high speed on Hamilton Boulevard. Los Angeles County Fire Department and Pomona Police Department were the first responders at the scene.
