Crenshaw Single-Vehicle Crash Killed Two People

September 21, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

On Sunday, September 20th, a single-vehicle crash was reported to have taken place. The location of the crash was identified to be in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Jr. and Crenshaw boulevards. The Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department were present at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle had fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. They were heading west on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard when the vehicle hit the median strip. It went up in flames. Investigators are still looking into the identities of both driver and passenger, as well as the cause of the crash.

Can You File for A Wrongful Death Claim for A Passenger?

In the United States, the number of passengers that died from traffic accidents is second only to drivers. Thus, if your loved one was a passenger in a traffic accident and died from the incident, you have the right to consider filing a wrongful death claim against the person who was driving the vehicle they were riding in. This is especially true if driver negligence was the cause of the accident.
