Can You Be Denied a Claim by Your Auto Insurance Provider?

Yes, you can. A claim can be easily dismissed by your auto insurance if the circumstances of your car accident violate your insurance policy. In general, your auto insurance provider will not provide coverage for you and your car if your car accident involves a criminal act. This includes verdicts such as driving under the influence. However, if you are being denied a claim even though you are the victim of a car accident, then you need to immediately dispute this decision. It is best to start contacting a lawyer if you are planning to take this action.
