Can You File Damages if Your Property Was Damaged by A Drunk Driver?
Just like any other car accident, as a victim, you can choose to file a damage claim against a drunk driver. However, if you were also injured in the process, we advise you to pursue a personal injury claim instead of a damage claim. If you work together with a legal representative to do this, any non-economic or economic damages that you experience will be included in the personal injury claim you file. If you’d like to get in touch with one of our lawyers to discuss your legal options as a drunk driver victim, call us at (800) 310-1606.
