Can You File A Claim to Your Auto Insurance if You Disobeyed Traffic Laws?
It depends on what traffic law you violated. Severe cases, such as DUIs, means that you probably will not be able to file any claim at all to your auto insurance provider. That doesn’t mean simple violations such as making the wrong turn deserve the same treatment, however. At most, you should expect an increase in your insurance premium – but you should still be able to have your claim approved. If you’re having issues with your auto insurance when filing a claim for a single-vehicle crash, call us today for a free consultation at (800) 310-1606.
