September 19, 2020 Alan Ahdoot

On September 15th, 2020, a female pedestrian was hit by an oncoming car at Sunset Boulevard in Sherbourne Drive. West Hollywood’s Sheriff Station are the authorities at the scene. She was walking her dog when the accident occurred. Rumors were spread on social media that she died at the scene, which was false. However, she sustained multiple injuries from the incident and was brought to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for further medical treatment. The driver of the car stayed at the scene and was found to not have been driving under the influence. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances causing the accident.

Can You Pursue A Lawsuit Against A Driver Who Isn’t Drunk?

If you were injured in a car crash that wasn’t a DUI, you might be wondering whether it’s still possible for you to file a personal injury claim against the driver. First of all, you should know that as long as you can argue that the driver was negligent, you can still file a lawsuit against them. Negligent driving behaviors can come in many forms. Some of them are speeding, not abiding by traffic lights, and not paying attention to crossing pedestrians. Thus, if you feel that your driver is guilty of any of the above, you should consider finding a legal representative to help your case.
