Garden Grove Crash Injured Four People Including Toddler

A multi-vehicle crash that involves a police patrol vehicle was reported to occur on Monday, October 26th in Garden Grove. The crash happened around 3:00 p.m. between Haster Street and Chapman Avenue. An automobile vehicle ran over a red light and struck the patrol vehicle, which spun out of control due to the impact. The patrol vehicle then hit another vehicle traveling nearby that was occupied by three people – which included a 16-year-old and a toddler passenger. All of the vehicle’s occupants suffered from injuries of varying severity and were sent to the nearest hospital for further medical treatment. The police officer was also mildly injured from the crash but chose to forgo hospitalization. It is unknown whether the driver who caused the accident was also injured. Garden Grove Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
