On Saturday, September 19th, a hit-and-run incident was reported to have taken place around 10:30 p.m. The location of the incident was identified as between Gosford Road and South Laurel Glen Boulevard. Bakersfield Police Department was the first responder at the scene.
A motorcycle was hit by an unknown vehicle, injuring a male motorcycle driver and his female passenger. The motorcycle driver was severely injured while the female passenger suffered from moderate injuries. Both of them were sent to the hospital for further medical treatments.
Passengers from the unknown vehicle left on foot but were arrested shortly afterward. The driver of the unknown vehicle has yet to be found.
