What Should You As A Hit-and-Run Victim?
Just like any other car accident victims, you need to cooperate with the emergency officials at the scene. This may include firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement officers. The latter two would be the ones that you will coordinate with most at the scene. If you are still conscious, you may receive treatment either at the scene or at the nearest hospital. If paramedics advise you to go to a hospital, we believe you need to do this, especially if you have medical insurance. Law enforcement officials may also question you either at the scene or at the hospital – cooperate with them so that they can help you in arresting the hit-and-run perpetrator.
