What Happens When a Car Accident Victim Dies During Personal Injury Claim Process?

It isn’t uncommon for an injury sustained from a car crash to turn fatal. When this happens, and a personal injury claim has already been filed, what can you do as a family member of the deceased car accident victim? Generally, it is possible to use a survival action claim to continue the personal injury claim. Unlike wrongful death claims, which cover different damages than personal injury claims, you can pursue the same damage claims when using a survival action claim. If you’d like to know more about this type of claim, call us at (800) 310-1606 to get a free consultation on your case, available 24/7.
