Can Your Insurance Deny Your Claim After a Car Accident?

Though most auto insurance would approve of a claim related to your accident after the event, there are certain situations where it might not happen. When this situation arises, it is usually caused by the insurance policy.

If the conditions in the accident violate the terms stated in the policy, then insurers would not cover for any of the damages caused. Most of the time, DUI-related charges will void any insurance claim filed. Your auto insurance will usually also not approve damage claims filed for any customization done to your vehicle. In our opinion, if you feel that you are not receiving your full payout on the claim you file, you need to contact a lawyer. To connect with one of our attorneys, call us any time at (866) 698-2306.
