Pedestrian Dead After Highway 58 Traffic Accident

On Saturday, October 10th, a pedestrian was found dead after a traffic accident at around 8:00 p.m. California Highway Patrol received information that the crash occurred on Highway 58, near South Mount Vernon Avenue. The pedestrian was later identified as a 23-year-old female named Layloni Ariel Ashely Rue.

The vehicle which struck her was a semi-truck, found to be a Kenworth tractor-trailer. It was heading east on Highway 58 when the driver suddenly saw the pedestrian crossing the road, and was unable to evade her. It is unknown why she suddenly entered the traffic lanes. She was also struck by other vehicles traveling in the area when she was thrown from the first impact, although these vehicles were unable to be identified by the authorities.

What Can You Do If Multiple Parties Were At Fault for Your Injuries?

Just like in the accident told above, it isn’t impossible for multiple parties to be at-fault for the injuries you sustain from a crash. It is possible for you to pursue a claim against multiple individuals, but in our opinion, it is best to wait for the crash report instead. The crash report will help determine who is the person most at-fault, and thus, instead of wasting your time by pursuing all the parties involved in the crash, you can choose to pursue your claim against the individuals who are truly responsible.
