On August 29th afternoon, a car struck a pedestrian after crashing past double yellow lines near San Ramon’s city limits. The driver, 36-year-old Liupua M. Talivaa, was found to be dead at the scene, while the pedestrian was hospitalized as a result. It is suspected that the driver was driving under the influence.
