Can You Reject Air Ambulance Following An Automobile Accident?
It is possible, but only if you are conscious. If you were not conscious after a car accident, then medical personnel at the field will decide whether or not to call a helicopter to air transport you to the nearest hospital. However, after you are awake, it is possible to dispute these charges if you believe that air transport was not necessary. You must be prepared for a legal battle if you choose to pursue this line of action, however. If you’d like to get in touch with an attorney to discuss what legal options you have when disputing air ambulance costs, call us at (800) 310-1606 to get a free consultation.
