On Wednesday, September 30th, a multi-vehicle collision occurred between Canyon Acres Road and Laguna Canyon Road just before 3:30 p.m. Laguna Beach Police Department is the first responder at the scene. They received news that a driver who violated the speed limit regulation in the area caused a collision involving six vehicles.
Two of the vehicles involved, a white pickup truck and a white sedan, exploded in flames. Four people suffered severe injuries and were sent to the nearest hospital for treatment. Several lanes of Laguna Canyon Road were closed for three hours while police investigated the scene. The investigation on the details of the incident is still ongoing.
