Can Auto Insurance Coverage Deny Payout for Elderly Drivers?
Although auto insurance providers have been known to elderly drivers, this usually happens before an insurance contract is signed. If an auto insurance provider has already agreed to cover for an elderly driver, then they cannot deny payout if the circumstances of the crash are under policy coverage. After all, elderly drivers would already have to pay a higher premium than the rest of the population, due to the higher perceived risks.
