A vehicle fire reportedly took place on Thursday, January 7th in Newhall Pass. Los Angeles County Fire Department was the first responder at the scene. The incident happened between Interstate 5 and Highway 14 at about 6:00 p.m. It is unknown how the vehicle fire suddenly came about. Nevertheless, the fire caused severe damage to the nearby area, burning off at least 10 acres of vegetation. No building structures were damaged during this incident. It is unknown if the vehicle was occupied at the time. No injuries were reported. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the vehicle fire.
