California Highway Patrol received information of a fatal two-vehicle crash occurring in the vicinity of Newhall Avenue on Sunday, October 18th. The vehicles involved were a 2015 Nissan Sentra and a Castaic Tow Truck. The truck was traveling north when it struck the Nissan. The Nissan had four occupants, including the driver. All of them sustained injuries, with one fatal. The fatal injury affected a 48-year-old woman, whose name is not yet disclosed by the authorities. This person was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others – two males, and one female, had injuries of varying severities – and are receiving treatment in the hospital. It is unknown whether the tow truck driver was also injured from the accident.

Can Your Claim Be Denied After A Car Accident Involving A Businessowner’s Employee?

Unfortunately, this is likely to happen. It is possible that when you were involved in a car accident where the at-fault party was in the middle of performing a job for an employer, the claim you choose to file against their employer was denied. However, do not immediately get discouraged when you experience this. You should know that if your vehicular accident occurs in California then the business owner is liable to be responsible for any personal injury claims that arise from a car accident where the employee is at fault.
