A two-vehicle accident was reported to have occurred on Monday, October 12th, 2020 in east Bakersfield. Bakersfield Police Department is the lead investigator of the case. They receive information that around 3.30 p.m., a sedan and a box truck collided with one another near East Panama Lane and Cottonwood Road. What Can A Surviving Victim Do Against A Deceased At-Fault Driver?

If you were involved in a car accident, where you, as the victim survives, while the driver died, you should know that you can still pursue a personal injury claim against the insurance provider of the at-fault driver. You also have another option – filing a claim to the person who will inherit the deceased’s estates. We advise you to try going through the insurance provider first, however, before taking the aforementioned action. If you’d like to discuss more about either legal options available for you as the surviving but injured victim, call us at (800) 310-1606.
