Woman Heavily Injured After Semi-Trailer Collision

A two-vehicle crash was reported to occur on Ridgecrest, near Cadet Road, on Highway 33. The incident happened on Wednesday, October 21st. It involved a semi-trailer and a sedan, the latter identified as a Hyundai Elantra. The Hyundai had one occupant, a female driver. Her car was heavily damaged from the crash and caused her to be trapped inside for around 25 minutes. Kern County Fire Department managed to rescue her from the vehicle, although she suffered from severe injuries nevertheless.
